This was originally designed as a bottle opener for my godparents, as an exercise in manufacturing kitchen products for family members. Barley Branch is magnetized to catch caps as they leave the bottle, using them as a symbol of the foundation for the tree.
A strong neodymium magnet is inset into the front cover for strength, and would be available in many different hardwoods and finishes.
Watch your tree grow! The bottle caps are caught by the magnet as it leaves the bottle, signifying the roots of the tree.
